HealthPixel Check — Privacy Policy

HealthPixel Check is a free tool built on an open-source engine that checks what a public website sends to advertising and analytics platforms. This policy covers the web page at https://check.healthpixelcheck.org and its API.
What we process
- The address you ask us to check. It is used to run the check. Click and campaign identifiers (such as
gclid,fbclid,utm_*) and anything that looks like an e-mail address are removed before the check starts. - The report and screenshots of the checked site's first screen. They are kept in memory only, for up to 10 minutes so that you can retrieve them, and then deleted. They are never written to disk or logs. The report shown on the page and sent to AI assistants is a summary: vendor names and counts, without the exact page addresses, titles or screenshots.
- The full report by e-mail. The full report, with exact page addresses, titles and screenshots, is sent only to an e-mail address at the checked organization's own domain. Your e-mail address is used only to send that one message. It is not stored, not written to logs and not counted. The message is delivered through Resend (Resend, Inc., United States), which keeps message content for 30 days; the message contains only the one-line verdict and a link, not the findings. The full report is kept in memory only, for up to 72 hours, under a long random link that cannot be guessed, and is then deleted. Anyone who has the link can open it during that time, so forward it only to people who should see it.
- Your IP address is held in memory only for rate limiting (up to 24 hours) and is never logged or stored.
- Anonymous statistics. A counter records the month, the optional organization type, state and "my own organization" answers, and three yes/no outcomes (advertising trackers found, condition-naming pages exposed, consent tool found). A separate count records how many full reports were sent by e-mail, with the same optional answers. It never contains the address, the domain, the report, your e-mail address or your IP address.
What we do not do
- We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts on our own page.
- We do not sell or share data. We do not build profiles.
- We do not ask for, accept or store health information about anyone. Please do not enter personal information.
- The check never submits forms or logs in to the website being checked.
Your choices
You can use the web page without the optional questions. Because we keep no record linked to you or to the checked address, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete after the 10-minute window (or, for a full report sent by e-mail, after 72 hours). To delete a full report earlier, write to us with its link.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date.
